Custom Wedding Invitations

Bespoke stationery is about more than names and a date on paper and definitely more than checking something off a (long) wedding to-do list. When choosing custom stationery, you work with a real human (not a computer) who will listen to what you want and find a way to take what’s in your head and make it come to life in a way that makes you jubilant and proud.

It’s personal. It’s unique. It’s attention to every detail. It’s finding just the right tone of that perfect color. It’s about creating a treasured keepsake. It’s about capturing who you are as a couple and translating that to paper.

If you’re here, you probably already know that. What you may not know is how this all works! That’s why I’m here. I create the stationery, but I also guide you on what you need, when you need it, how to say it most clearly and fun ways to make it all come together.

The Design Process
(tldr: I guide you through it, + we make it everything you envision.)

  • No. 1: 6-12+ Months Out

You’re engaged and ready to plan! Get in touch, and I can send over some clear pricing and options for you to review. My goal is to create a fun and un-rushed experience, so reaching out sooner rather than later is important! It’s never too early! If you are under the 6 month mark, still reach out and we will see what we can do. In general, custom invitations take about 3 months to complete, and I like to give them to you about 3-4 months before your wedding.

  • No. 2: Proposal + Contract

Once you pick and choose the items you want on the proposal, you will make a 50% payment and sign a contract. I will then provide you with a timeline for our work together. Then the fun begins!.

Staring prices are $1,100, and the average investment for custom stationery is $2,500.

  • No. 3: Style and Wording

You will fill out a form that will guide me on your wedding stationery. You will provide wording (and I can help!), your overall aesthetic, and any ideas you have. About 2-3 weeks later, I will be back in touch with 3 initial designs. We can combine parts of different designs or make any changes you want to make them exactly as you envision.

  • No. 4: Proofs

Over the course of about 3 rounds of revisions, we will tweak the design and wording to get things just right. Once we are there, you will sign off on the final approvals, and things go into production!

  • No. 5: Production

Production takes between 3-6 weeks, and in this time, I am ordering supplies, sending files to various printers and working on envelope calligraphy if you opted for that…and I always suggest opting for it! :) Once I have everything in, I will send you some sneak peeks of course. You can choose to assemble the suites yourself or have me do it. Either way, I package everything up with care and great attention to detail. I will also provide you with a keepsake suite and one for your photographer to document.

  • No. 6: Mail!

Get the official USPS blessing for postage and send those beauties off into the mail for your friends and family to lovingly open.
